UGA Libraries Research Awards

The UGA Libraries sponsors the Undergraduate Research Awards, which provide cash prizes for excellence in research and academic inquiry.

LIBRARIES UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AWARDS

Who is eligible?
All undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this award.

What are the awards?

  • Prizes range from $200-$300.

How can I apply?
To apply for these awards:

  • Meet with a librarian for a research consultation
  • Write a 3-5 page essay describing and reflecting upon your research process and project
  • Complete an application before the deadline (March 11, 2024)

Research projects "in progress" at the time of the award deadline can still be submitted and considered for the award. Please consult a librarian for more information.

How will you notify winners?
The UGA Libraries will announce prize winners, through the CURO Symposium webpage, among other outlets.
